Description

In the summer of 2022 I painted a series in PopArt style.

 

Paintings in PopArt style related to a kiss, provided with an epoxy coating. A kiss is such a tender way to express your feelings and affection for someone. How can it not be inspiring to an artist?

 

The background of the painting is in "fluid art" style, where the dynamism in the paint flow represents passion and the emotions of human connection.

 

In fluid art, paint mixes semi-randomly with other paint, without fusing into new colours, as the coloured paint floats over a base coat of liquid paint. Text and a mouth have been added in pop art / street art style.

 

A thick coat of clear UV resistant epoxy gives a nice depth to the painting and really draws attention when hung on the wall. The epoxy gives deep reflections as you pass the painting.
