Description

This work of art is part of a series of paintings inspired by the Olympics and Paralympics of Paris in 2024.

 

Over 5000 medals were made for the Paris Olympics and Paralympics in 2024.

 

The medals included a small hexagonal piece of iron from the Eiffel Tower attached to the centrefold each medal. This iron was sourced from left over materials from previous work on the iconic tower to modernise its elevators in the 20th century.
