When I made these series of painting, I was thinking a lot of someone I know well. Someone who has had a troubled time, for quite some time. She was, again, confronted with some really difficult situations in her life. She had to make some tough decisions, and currently still is working on these decisions to take.
Over the four months that I have been working on this painting, we had several talks on her situation and how to possibly deal with it. It made me realise, again, how difficult life can be. The struggles of life, how to walk through it, how to take the journey. Because you will have to decide, and you do have to take your journey.
