An abstract relationship to the infinite.

Mandala, as an art form, originated in the first century BC in Buddhist art produced in India. Nowadays you often see a mandala as a diagram, graph or geometric pattern that symbolically represents the cosmos. Like a microcosm in the infinity of the universe. In its origin, a mandala was to represent wholeness and a model for the structure of life itself. Like a geometric diagram showing the relationship with the infinite and the everyday world.

A mandala is an often symmetrical configuration of lines and symbols. Mandalas are used in various religions and creeds as a tool for spiritual guidance. To focus attention, as an aid in meditation and trance induction. In Eastern religions such as Jainism, Shintoism, and Hinduism, as well as Buddhist teachings, it is used to represent gods. And specifically in Shintoism paradise or kami, the actual shrines.

My mandala through this painting represents my abstract relationship to the infinite.

Art inspires, it changes a bare environment into a pleasant space in which you like to stay or work.

Every artwork of mine is an original. I never make prints or replicas because they cannot be compared to the original, especially in terms of depth and reflection of light. If you have an artwork of mine, you are always the only one -exclusively- who has this hand-painted work of art.
